GPCB Consent — CTE & CTO
Consent to Establish & Consent to Operate from Gujarat Pollution Control Board.
Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) under the Water Act 1974 and Air Act 1981 are mandatory for every industry in Gujarat. CTE must be obtained before construction begins; CTO before commercial production starts, and it must be renewed on expiry. Operating without valid consent can lead to closure directions, disconnection of power and forfeiture of bank guarantee.
